UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch - The Rossweid Experience Restaurant high above Sörenberg, in the midst of the high moors, offers a great range of activities in and around the house. Also as a mountain hotel it is an ideal starting point to discover the nature and mountain landscape.

In the middle of the wonderful moor landscape stands the experience restaurant and mountain hotel Rossweid. It can be reached by foot or by cable car. The self-service restaurant offers a wide range of culinary delights and the mountain hotel comfortable rooms for young and old. The large sun terrace is located directly next to the popular Mooraculum adventure playground, where children can enjoy themselves for hours while parents, grandparents or godparents linger over a cool drink.

The Rossweid is the starting and ending point for various great hikes, for example the stroller-friendly "Sonnentauweg", or the easy "Moor-Rundweg" through the enchanting moorlands. A huge fun for the whole family is also the downhill ride on the fat scooters and bike boards. A real highlight is the Rossweid buffet every Sunday during the summer season!
